About me

My interest in languages was sparked by watching Muzzy videos and listening to Beatles songs. And I got into football in the school playground and during the France 1998 World Cup. Years later, I graduated in Translation and Interpreting from the Automomous University of Madrid (UAM) and obtained a Master’s in Audiovisual Translation from the Higher Institute of Linguistic Studies and Translation (ISTRAD) on my return from a stay in Canada and the French Basque Country.

After a decade working as an in-house translator, in 2022 I decided to launch my freelance career. Today I work with individuals, translation agencies, and direct clients such as major international sports organisations and football TV shows, among others.
